WHICH ONE IS FOR YOU?
The ‘Long-course’ option in Meribel will offer approximately 30% more racing than the short course.
In comparison, the Short Course will take-in the same superb stages as the Long Course, but will miss out one or two of the most difficult trails, each day…as well as skipping the biggest, longest climbs.
Let’s be clear – the ‘Short’ Course is still big, when compared to almost every other regular enduro-format race that we know about…but the long course really does just go that bit further and clock up some serious mileage and descent, as well as cover a larger domain.
We feel that the Short course is a perfect intro for Enduro2 first-timers, or teams who are eager to have a little time to spare each day to enjoy some extra relaxation (or more party!). It’s also suitable for those strong but younger riders out there – minimum age is 12 years old when riding with a responsible adult. Father/Son and Mother/Daughter teams – this is your time to shine!
Long course race categories: MALE / FEMALE / MIXED / E-BIKE / 77+ / 100+
Short course race categories: MALE / FEMALE & MIXED / E-BIKE / PARENT & CHILD*
*Minimum age 12 years. Parent & Child Category is only available for the Short Course, i.e. only in Meribel. For the Long Course, Minimum age is 18; or 15 if riding in a team with an adult
